SilverBullet is a programmable, open source Knowledge Management System that keeps your notes, your team’s knowledge and your product’s documentation as Markdown files you own.

Choose your journey

• On this computer: SilverBullet Desktop keeps each space in a folder on your machine, and is free for personal and education use. Start with Install/Desktop.
• On my server: SilverBullet Server is a self-hosted web app you use from any browser, it keeps working offline as an installable PWA. Start with Install/Docker or Install/Server Binary.
• Hosted for me: a provider runs SilverBullet Server for you, see Install#Cloud.

Desktop can sync with any Server, see Desktop Sync. Once you’re set up, follow Getting Started.
